OriginsCross Platform Comedy was created in 2008 as a means to an end. For far too long, nerds have been oppressed in society and pushed into the fringe. Jeff Reitman had the idea to create a show in the hub of the nerd universe, the San Francisco Bay Area, that would allow nerds to co-mingle away from the glow of their displays and make fun of themselves. The ShowEvery Cross Platform show features some of the best nerd comics from the Bay Area discussing topics from comics to politics. Previous show topics included videogame anti-violence law, the origins of the X-men, and impressing the ladies in high school with a dance inspired by the Super Mario Bros. theme song.
